Great Day!

Today has been a great day. First, I found out that I got an A in my class and finally, after 10 long months, my braces have come off (again!). My orthodontist says that my teeth are perfect and will stay that way as long as I do what I am supposed to do, which is wear my retainers. I can finally eat all that yummy food I was denied for the past 10 months!

Father's Day at the Orlando Science Center

Another Father's Day has come and gone. Mr. Cash had a tough decision trying to decide what he wanted to do for his day. At first, we were planning on going to one of the local springs for a picnic lunch and swim, but it was way too hot for that so he decided that we should go to the science center instead. The last time we were there was when Min first came home from Korea, 7 years ago. The kids had a very good time experimenting and learning about the many things on exhibit. We even watched an IMAX movie about the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon. We didn't get to see everything, but we got free passes to go back between now and July. The kids and I plan on returning next week to see the rest of the center.
A couple of side notes. . .
Joo lost her second tooth today. Good thing too since both permenant teeth are already in.
I finished my first class in my Master's program this evening. One down, 12 more to go!!!

Busy Bees

Well, now that summer is here and I am home during the day, I have to clean my house again. I was dreading it, then I realized my children are now old enough to help out. So today we started our family cleaning. They both dusted their own bedrooms and cleaned their bathrooms. Even with the help, it still took me three hours to clean it all. I guess that's the price I have to pay having a big house.

Summer Fun

Now that summer is here we like to do day trips about once a month to explore the state that we live in. Today we decided to go visit the Ponce De Leon Lighthouse in Ponce Inlet. Of course, once we got there it was storming ( I say of course because, as though of you who live in Florida know, it just won't stop raining!!!) so we had to wait for the lightning to go away before they would open the lighthouse again. Once they did we made a bee line for it before the next round of storms hit, which they did as we were leaving. The kids enjoyed learning some of Florida's history and liked the top of the lighthouse, but climbing and going down the 203 stairs were another story they said. I liked it because I got my work out in for the day. :)

School's Out for Summer

Yea, I finally have time to blog again and catch up on my friends' blogs!! Let's see what has been going in our lives since I last posted.

Min had his first swim meet a couple of weeks ago. He swam in four races and only had trouble with one. He finished first in freestyle, and second in breast stroke and butterfly. Great for his first meet and we are very proud! Here is video of him doing the freestyle race.

In addition, Joo graduated from Pre-K on June 3. It was the cutest thing and we are so proud! She is now officially a kindergartener.
