In the past couple of weeks, my children have proven to me that they are growing up. Min has a new neighborhood friend (finally, we've been waiting for 2 years) and went with him to the playground while I sat nervously on the front porch waiting for him to return. That was the first time that he rode off without me behind him. Joo lost her first tooth on Tuesday, much to her delight. Mr. Cash pulled it out for her. The Tooth Fairy brought her $2.00
My blogs will be few and far between for the next couple of weeks. I have started school, am still teaching and taking care of the family so I have little time to anything else.

Normal, Boring Day?!
Just when I think I am having a normal, boring day things got interesting. First, it started hailing at the school I work at, so I was stuck there and unable to pick up Joo until the storm let up a bit. Then I got to drive through the hail again on the way home. When I arrived home it was only sprinkling. I pulled up to get the mail and noticed that our back fence was bent outwards, which was not like that when I left this morning. I walked into the house, opened the sliding glass doors and looked out to make sure the dogs couldn't escape when I notice our trampoline is not in the backyard anymore, but lying on top of an orange tree in the lot next to our house. Now, my first thoughts are how did that happen, how are we going to get this thing back in our yard and how much will it cost to fix the fence. When Mr. Cash gets home we go out to take a look. Luckily, the fence can be pushed back up with no major damage. He calls in some reinforcements to come help get the trampoline back in the yard. While we are waiting for the men to arrive, I turn on the tv and get a message that says the satellite has not received a signal in over an hour and to call our satellite provider. Mr. Cash gets on the phone and finds out that it is our dish, not the weather and a technician has to come out to fix it. It costs $100 just for him to come out and he can't come until Thursday. The kids and I have to go 2 days without tv, 2 days when Mr. Cash will not be home. This is not good!!!! So to wrap this story up. . .the trampoline is back in the yard, the fence is vertical again and the dish technician is coming on Thursday.

1 Fish, 2 Fish and a New Tooth
Joo started swimming lessons today at the Y, just as Min did last year at this time. Now Joo can swim pretty well for a 5 year old, but we want her to know all of the different styles. When they first start lessons, they determine which kids go in the beginner and advanced group by having the kids get in the water and show what they can do. When it was Joo's turn, she put her googles on, jumped in and started swimming to the coach who kept backing up. Needless to say Joo was in the advanced class, and, at the end of the class, was asked to join the swim team with her brother. We have not decided if we will pursue this venture for Joo since she is already in gymnastics and loves do cheer when it is in season.
I also happened to notice today that Joo's bottom 2 front teeth seemed to have moved forward. Upon further investigating, I discovered that her bottom right permanent tooth is coming in already and those 2 baby teeth are loose. My baby is growing up!!! A permanent tooth and she hasn't even started kindergarten yet, what's next?!

Needed a Break
The family decided that we needed a weekend vacation from all of the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives so we picked the first weekend in May to take it. The dogs left on their vacation first to the pet sitters house for the weekend. Boy, were they happy to see pet sitter!!!! I went and picked the kids up from school and we were on our way. We made the 15 minute trip to Disney's Beach Club resort. There is only one reason to stay at the Beach Club resort and it's the pool!!!! Being able to walk to EPCOT is nice, but the pool, aaah! It has this great waterslide, a lazy river that is 8 feet deep, a sand bottom, and a huge kiddy pool surrounded by sand with a gradual slope into the water. Friday night we went to the Magic Kingdom where Joo was allowed to get a hair wrap (finally, she says!!) and then went to the Hoop-de-doo Revue Dinner Show at Fort Wilderness. The kids loved the show and I loved the food!! We made it back to the room at midnight and promptly fell asleep. The next day we went to EPCOT for the good food and drinks. Min got his fish and chips, Mr. Cash got his Guinness and I got my Black Forest cake. Yum!! After that we headed back to the hotel for the campfire and movie under the stars. On Sunday, we spent the day relaxing by the pool and playing in the sand. It was a busy weeknd but very relaxing. Now it's back to the real world!
